About the Day

Beauty has always been more than an art.

Ask anyone who does it for a living. Before anything looks effortless, there are years of training, early starts, long days on your feet and a lot of practice.

International Beauty Professionals Day is a simple idea. One day each year when we stop and recognize that work, and the stylists, artists, technicians, educators and students behind it.

Nobody owns it. Any salon, studio, school, brand or freelancer, anywhere, can mark the day in their own way.
